Heat Make Nice Pick-Up In Bringing Carlos Arroyo Back To NBA!

Although the NBA seems to be clamping down on their players using Social-Networks it does not seem to be curtailing the actual team’s use of them to get information out to the Planet. The Miami Heat on their Twitter Account dubbed “Heat Speak” announced on Monday that they are brining back point guard Carlos Arroyo to the NBA. Arroyo last played for the Orlando Magic in the 2007-2008 season. He has averaged 7.0 points, 3,3 assists and 1.7 rebounds in his career. The point guard also played for Denver, Utah, Toronto and Detroit in his time in the league.

Arroyo spent last seaon playing in Israel for Maccabi Tel Aviv helping them win the Premier League Championship and was named Finals MVP. Miami a team that had very few options at the point from the start of training camp found themselves in a bind after Chris Quinn sprained his right foot. Quinn was the only true point on the team other than starter Mario Chalmers who is heading into his second NBA season.

Arroyo is a gutty player who left it all on the court each time he took to the hardwood. This is a strong singing for the Heat who if everything breaks their way could find themselves challenging the Orlando Magic for the NBA Southeast Division Title.
