Picture of the Week

If you are going to rush the field at a professional ballgame, be it football, basketball, soccer, baseball, or whatever else suites your fansy, then this is the way to do it: Get national attention for being shot in the back by lazy security officer wielding a taser gun. The picture makes things slightly more dramatic than they truly were and even offers similarities of the Matrix, 007, or maybe even last night’s pilates class, but it makes for a great story.

Fan: “Dooo doo doo…I’m on the field! I’m on the field!”

Security: “Stop in the name of Rent-a-Cop!”

Fan: “Ahhh! He has…a TASER!!!! RUNNNN!!”

Security: “Come back here you little twerp!”

*Queue slow motion* The Security guard pulls out his taser, takes aim and nails the fan right between the shoulder blades. The Fan collapses to the ground falling like King Kong from the Empire State building.

Security: “He, he, he…that’ll teach him”

The Security guard blows on the tip of his gun with the smirk of a champion as he re-holsters his magnum and listens to the crowd roar…with boos.
